His wife was all that and a bag of chips, not only could she fight and willing to die to save her home (village) her companion was hel**l of a warrior. I think at the ending she was just waiting on her husband return.
This was fabulous, and I don't like martial arts movies. The sets were stunning as was the score. Wonderful relationship with the General and his Wife. Bravo!

I have no idea how much this followed the true history, but it didn't keep me from enjoying the movie one bit. I am having a person who knows watch it for that stuff because he cannot help himself.

Great movie, and the only crap movies are the ones that have come out of Hollywood after the start of 2018. Unless it was an independent film studio, haven't watched anything after 2018 coming from Hollywood.

Epic! Watch this! Incredible nonstop action choregraphed by the fantastic Sammo Hung. Not a slow minute in the 2 hours. Essentially a true story, like a Chinese-Japanese version of the "300" Greek-Persian battle with overwhelming odds. Vivid characters. I think the best worldwide movies are spoken in the actors' native languages, with subtitles in the language of your choice. (When all that's happening is fighting, you don't need the captions or subtitles anyway.)

WOW!!! This Film is amazing. Even Qi's Wife was down to go to war. Its a true gift to find a woman like that. Qi is an example of what it means to lead by example. His leadership leads his team to believe that they're strong enough to fight against the pirates. At the end of the day during war times, no one wins for both sides lost loved one. The end of film showed how to be honorable and not to be emotional during decision making. ⚔
